Aluva, 19 November 2016: The agonizing and anxious waiting had its end on 19^th November with the funeral function of Fr. Roy Moothedath RCJ at The Synodal Church, Udayamperoor that is his own parish.  The funeral ceremony was preceded by Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Chakkiath, the Bishop Emeritus, in the presence of the sorrowing family as well as a big assembly consists of big number of priests, sisters and laity. The human remaining of Fr. Roy was received at the airport at around 3:00 am and brought to the Rogate ashram chapel.  Fr.

Oggi 20 novembre festa di Cristo Re alle ore 5.30, nella Casa di San Cesareo (Roma) all'età di 94 anni e 65 di sacerdozio si è serenamente addormentato nel Signore Padre Romualdo Giove. Negli ultimi giorni ha sofferto senza mai lamentarsi. P. Romualdo era nato a Santeramo in Colle (Ba) il 7 febbraio 1922 e, sull'esempio di due sue sorelle che erano entrate tra le Missionarie del S. Costato, aveva seguito la voce del Signore entrando nella Casa di Oria il 10 ottobre 1935, quando aveva 13 anni. (dal sito della Provincia Sant’Annibale)

On November 14, 2016, the Eucharistic Celebration for the closing ceremony of the Door of Mercy was held in the Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Reedley for the Vicariate of Fresno Rural Area presided by Fr. John Bruno, the Vicar Forane of the Area.

In the Eucharistic Celebration on November 16, 2016, presided over by Fr. Orville Cajigal, the Provincial Council in-charge of the missions, Fr. Herman Abcede, the Provincial Superior, led the Rite of Mission Send-Off of Fr. Henry Ramos, Bro. Paul John Mapacpac and Bro. Chris Melvic Floralde to Papua New Guinea. The liturgy at the St. Hannibal Rogate Center was graced by the presence of some friends, relatives and benefactors, who joined the community and its daily mass goers.

Aluva, 12 November 2016:  Rogationist Academy celebrated the children’s day on 12 November 2016, Saturday in the morning. This celebration is in honour of Mr.Jawaharlal Nehru, a national leader, whose birthday is regarded as the national children’s day. All the parents were invited to have their presence on this occasion. The parents were introduced to the new programme of our Academy called Jungle Cubs for the physical education of children. The celebration was made colourful with the various beautiful programmes of the children and the competitions.

On November 8-10, St. Mary’ Parish celebrated the National Vocation Awareness Week. Two days were intended for around 600 CCD students and Agape students who were preparing for their first communion and RCIA programs.

8 NOVEMBRE 2016. Nella cappella di Santa Marta in Vaticano, nella mattinata, il Santo Padre Papa Francesco ha presieduto la celebrazione eucaristica alla quale hanno partecipato Padre Paolo Bertapelle, Parroco, e i Padri Pasquale Maranò e Adamo Calò collaboratori parrocchiali presso la parrocchia di S. Antonio in Circonvallazione Appia, Roma.  Ad essi si sono aggiunti una ventina di fedeli della stessa parrocchia rappresentanti le varie organizzazioni parrocchiali. Al termine della celebrazione il Papa ha voluto incontrare e salutare uno per uno tutti i partecipanti alla celebrazione.

È alla stampa il Calendario Rogazionista 2017.  Come si anticipava in una comunicazione precedente si è ritenuto opportuno riportare tutti i giorni dell’anno, con la memoria liturgica del calendario universale, e inserire anche il ricordo delle Celesti Figlie del Divino Zelo. Probabilmente per posta potrà giungere in ritardo; in tal caso si potrà provvedere a stamparlo sul posto scaricandolo dal sito.

In settembre è uscito il primo numero (settembre ottobre 2016) della nuova rivista della FIDAE (Federazione Istituti di Attività Educative) della quale P. Gianni Epifani è direttore editoriale. Questo numero riporta un articolo di P. Adamo Calò “Educare non è un mestiere ma una missione” ed un altro di P. Sebastiano De Boni “A caccia di finanziamenti per arricchire l’offerta formativa”.
