(17 settembre) — La Saint Hannibal Multi-Level School Foundation, Inc. (SHMLSFI) ha celebrato un nuovo traguardo con la cerimonia di inaugurazione dei lavori per la costruzione del Sir Karl Axel Grandlund Building. Questo evento segna l'inizio di un nuovo capitolo di sviluppo e progresso per la scuola. La nuova ala è composta da due piani con tre aule. Prende il nome da Sir Karl Axel, grande sostenitore e benefattore della SHMLSFI e del Rogationist College Paranaque.
La cerimonia è iniziata con una preghiera di apertura e l'inno nazionale. P. Eduardo Fernandez, RCJ, ha dato un caloroso benvenuto. Funzionari locali, leader della comunità e genitori hanno partecipato all'evento e hanno condiviso l'entusiasmo per il progetto tanto atteso.
La cerimonia si è conclusa con una foto di gruppo e una dimostrazione di impegno da parte di tutti i presenti, a simboleggiare uno spirito di speranza, cooperazione e determinazione. Il nuovo edificio è visto come la realizzazione di un sogno condiviso e la fondazione guarda con fiducia a un futuro luminoso per i suoi alunni e la comunità.
La SHMLSFI è stata avviata nel 1998 all'interno del complesso della parrocchia di Nostra Signora del Santo Rosario a Parañaque, dove operano i Rogazionisti, per fornire istruzione e servizi educativi gratuiti ai bambini poveri della parrocchia. A causa della povertà, molti di questi bambini non frequentano la scuola per lavorare e sostenere le loro famiglie. Di conseguenza, la loro età non corrisponde al loro livello di istruzione, rendendo difficile per loro tornare a scuola. La St. Hannibal Multi-Level School offre loro la possibilità di recuperare gli anni di scuola persi attraverso un programma di studi riconosciuto dal governo.
Paranaque: Construction of the New Grandlund Building
(September 17) — The Saint Hannibal Multi-Level School Foundation, Inc. (SHMLSFI) celebrated a new milestone with a groundbreaking ceremony for the upcoming Sir Karl Axel Building. This event marks the beginning of a new chapter of development and progress for the school. The new wing consists of two floors with three classrooms. It is named after Sir Karl Axel Grandlund, a great supporter and benefactor of SHMLSFI and Rogationist College Paranaque.
The ceremony began with an opening prayer and the national anthem. Fr. Eduardo Fernandez, RCJ, gave a warm welcome. Local officials, community leaders, and parents attended the event and shared in the excitement for the long-awaited project.
The ceremony concluded with a photo opportunity and a show of commitment from everyone present, symbolizing a spirit of hope, cooperation, and determination. The new building is seen as the realization of a shared dream, and the foundation looks forward to a bright future for its students and community.
The SHMLSFI was initiated IN 1998 within the compound of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish in Parañaque, where the Rogationists minister, to provide free schooling and educational services to poor children in the Parish. Due to poverty, many of these children miss school to work and support their families. Consequently, their ages do not correspond to their level of schooling, making it difficult for them to return to school. The St. Hannibal Multi-Level School provides a way for them to recover the years of schooling missed through a government-recognized curriculum design.
