La sera del 21 febbraio 2026, la Gioventù Rogazionista - Filippine ha dato vita con successo al primo appuntamento del ciclo "Incontro con Sant’Annibale" via Zoom. Guidato da Kris Agatha Boado, Vicepresidente Nazionale, insieme ai leader giovanili di tutto il paese, l’evento ha approfondito il tema: "La Famiglia e l'Infanzia di Sant'Annibale".
L'incontro si è aperto con l'inno "We Love You, Fr. Hannibal", intonato dai Novizi, seguito da una riflessione sull'Esortazione Apostolica di Papa Francesco. I partecipanti hanno esplorato le radici del Santo, collegando la sua storia familiare alla propria chiamata alla santità. Un momento toccante è stata la testimonianza di Amy R. Araneta, Segretaria Nazionale, che ha condiviso il suo "Incontro Personale" con il carisma del Fondatore.
Sotto la guida di Padre Jessie Martirizar, RCJ, questa iniziativa ha rafforzato il legame spirituale della gioventù con il Rogate, concludendosi con la preghiera alla Madonna del Buon Consiglio e una foto di gruppo virtuale.
Rogate Youth Launches Inaugural "Encounter with Fr. Hannibal"
On the evening of February 21, 2026, the Rogate Youth - Philippines successfully hosted their first "Encounter with Fr. Hannibal" via Zoom. Led by National Vice-President Kris Agatha Boado and youth leaders nationwide, the virtual gathering focused on the theme: "The Family and Childhood of St. Hannibal."
The event opened with a soulful rendition of "We Love You, Fr. Hannibal" by the Novices, followed by an exploration of St. Hannibal’s ancestry and the Apostolic Exhortations of Pope Francis. Participants reflected on the saint’s early life, connecting his journey to their own modern callings to holiness.
A key highlight was a personal reflection by National Secretary Amy R. Araneta, who shared her "Personal Encounter" with the saint’s charism. Guided by Fr. Jessie Martirizar, RCJ, this milestone event concluded with a prayer to Our Lady of Good Counsel and a virtual group photo, marking a vibrant start to this new spiritual series.
