Il 20 febbraio 2026, il Formation Institute of Saint Hannibal (FISH) ha accolto presso l’Auditorium ALMA S.E. Mons. Edwaldus Martinus Sedu, Vescovo di Maumere. L'evento ha riunito seminaristi, religiosi e formatori in un clima di profonda comunione ecclesiale.
Il Coordinatore del FISH, P. Ferdinandus Heldi Tanga, RCJ, ha aperto l’incontro ripercorrendo la storia dell'istituto e la sua missione di accompagnamento vocazionale ispirata a Sant’Annibale Maria Di Francia. Sotto la guida di Suor Ansila, PACR, Mons. Edwaldus ha poi condiviso la propria testimonianza, definendo la famiglia come il "terreno fertile" e il vero vivaio di ogni vocazione.
Il dialogo è proseguito con un vivace confronto tra il Vescovo e i formandi. A conclusione della mattinata, P. Herbert Magbuo, RCJ (MSI), ha consegnato un omaggio al Presule, il quale ha lodato i Rogazionisti e le FDZ per il loro impegno nel favorire la collaborazione tra le congregazioni. Un rinfresco fraterno ha sigillato l'incontro in un clima di gioia e gratitudine.
A Shepherd Among the Formands: Encounter between the Bishop of Maumere and FISH
On February 20, 2026, the Formation Institute of Saint Hannibal (FISH) joyfully welcomed H.E. Most Rev. Edwaldus Martinus Sedu, Bishop of Maumere, to the ALMA Auditorium. The event united seminarians, religious sisters, and formators in a shared spirit of communion.
The program opened with a welcome from FISH Coordinator Fr. Ferdinandus Heldi Tanga, RCJ, who reflected on the institute’s history and its mission of vocational accompaniment inspired by St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia. Guided by Sr. Ansila, PACR, Bishop Edwaldus then shared his personal testimony, emphasizing the family as the "fertile soil" and true seedbed of every vocation.
The encounter featured a lively dialogue between the Bishop and the formands. To conclude, Fr. Herbert Magbuo, RCJ (MSI), presented a token of gratitude to the prelate, who in turn praised the Rogationists and FDZ for fostering collaboration among congregations. The morning ended with a fraternal meal, celebrating a shared journey of joy and gratitude.
