St.Thomas Quasi Province Aluva, June 18, 2017: The first Grand Conference of the Alliance of Sacred Heart Spirituality was conducted in the Generalate of the Sacred Heart Congregation in Kottayam. The event was made auspicious with the presence of His Excellency Mar Joseph Perumthottam-the Arch Bishop of Chenganassery Archdiocese, Rev.Fr.Jose Maria Ezpeleta RCJ- the Vicar General of Rogationist Fathers, Rev. Dr. Andrews Mekattukunnel- the president of Paurstya Vidhya Peedam St. Thomas Apostolic Seminary, Rev. Fr.

 Three postulants of the St. Thomas Quasi Province were formally addmitted to Postulancy on June 15 during the Eucharistic Mass presided over by Fr. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, Vicar General, who is doing the apta consultatio in the said circumscription. Present in the liturgical Rite were Fr. Shaju Koonathan and the other four priests of the community, a Relgious in Practical Training and the 37 boys of the Rogtionist Boys Home in Nalgonda. Fr. James is the Posutlant Director of the Quasi Province. Prayng for their perverance and fruiful vocation journey towards the Rogationist life.

Aluva, June 13, 2017: The Vicar General of the congregation Rev. Fr.Joemarie Ezpeleta RCJ arrived India as a part of his official visit for the apta consultatio. Rev.Fr.Shajan Pazhayil RCJ, the Major Superior, welcomed him. Fr.Joemarie celebrated the feast of St.Antony of Padua with the Quasi Province community. He celebrated the Holy Mass in the evening, delivered the homily and blessed St.Antony’s bread. He will be on his visit to the different communities of the circumscription.

Sabato 10 giugno. Conclusione dell'anno catechistico. Al termine dell'anno catechistico e come apertura della Festa Patronale del Corpus Domini alla Massimina, i ragazzi della Catechesi si sono esibiti brillantemente in una Gara Canora che si è tenuta nel Teatro parrocchiale gremito dai genitori dei ragazzi. Alla realizzazione dell'evento, che ha visto la partecipazione anche di P. Matteo Sanavio, Consigliere Generale per le Opere di Carità e le Missioni, ben riuscito, sono stati sufficienti pochi giorni di preparazione e tanta cura degli animatori e delle catechiste.

De 24 a 31 de maio de 2017, Pe. Juarez Albino Destro, Superior da Província Rogacionista São Lucas, visitou a Casa de Missão de Angola, em Cafunfo, município de Cuango, na Lunda Norte. In a solemn liturgy presided over by Most Rev. Ruperto Santos, DD, Bishop of Balanga, on June 9, 2017, he installed the Parish Priests of his Diocese to their respective Parishes through a common rite. Among those installed was Fr. Ranny Rodriguez, who was earlier assigned as the new pastor of the St. Francis Xavier Parish in Parang, Bagac, Bataan.

In a simple yet prayerful rite, led by Fr. Herman Abcede, the Provincial Superior, on June 6, 2017, Fr. Ulrich Gacayan turned over to Fr. Alfonso Flores the Office of the Parish Priest of the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Multinational Village, Parañaque City. Fr. Flores, in turn, turned over his post as Superior of the Religious Parish Community to Fr. Dante Quidayan. May they truly be filled with the necessary grace of state to be wise and faithful stewards, and brothers and friends to confreres and to all those entrusted to their care!

Dal 2 al 4 giugno si è tenuto a Messina, presso l'istituto "Cristo Re", l'annuale appuntamento dei LAVR (Laici Animatori Vocazionali Rogazionisti), che li ha visti impegnati nella riflessione sul tema: "La Gioia del Vangelo: Rogate”, animato dal Consigliere Generale per il Laicato, P. Gilson L. Maia. Sono stati 2 giorni intensi in cui oltre la riflessione i partecipanti hanno potuto offrire il loro servizio nelle mense per i poveri e condividere la gioia di sentirsi una famiglia, la Famiglia del Rogate.
