As a kind of culmination to their Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, Fr. Rene Ramirez and Fr. John Lucas, celebrated their silver anniversary of priestly ordination at the Saints Anthony and Hannibal Parish (Piazza Asti), during the 5:30 P.M. Sunday Mass of October 8, 2023. Joining them were Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, Fr. Eugene, and Bro. Eduardo de Palma, and the faithful of the parish. In his introduction before the mass, Fr. Bruno said the celebration is in thanksgiving for the gift of the priesthood given to these confreres, to the congregation, and to the whole Church. It is also a recognition of the service that they rendered to the parish during their stay in Rome for studies as young priests. In his homily, Fr. John acknowledged God’s faithfulness throughout those 25 years, and he invited the faithful to pray that he and Fr. Rene may always be grateful, appreciative and fruitful of the gift of the priesthood in the Rogationist Congregation.

Come una specie di completamento del loro pellegrinaggio sul Cammino di Santiago, P. René Ramirez e P. John Lucas, hanno celebrato il loro anniversario d'argento di ordinazione sacerdotale presso la Parrocchia dei Santi Antonio e Annibale (Piazza Asti), nel corso della Messa domenicale delle ore 17,30 dell'8 ottobre 2023. A loro si sono uniti P. Bruno Rampazzo, P. Eugene, il Fr.llo Eduardo de Palma, e i fedeli della parrocchia. Nella sua introduzione prima della messa, P. Bruno ha detto che la celebrazione è un ringraziamento per il dono del sacerdozio fatto a questi confratelli, alla Congregazione e a tutta la Chiesa. È anche un riconoscimento del servizio che hanno reso alla parrocchia durante la loro permanenza a Roma per gli studi da giovani preti. Nella sua omelia, P. John ha testimoniato la fedeltà di Dio durante questi 25 anni e ha invitato i fedeli a pregare affinché lui e P. Rene possano essere sempre grati, riconoscenti e fecondi nel dono del sacerdozio nella Congregazione Rogazionista.
