(9-10 maggio) Le comunità rogazioniste hanno festeggiato in vari modi la 62ª Giornata Mondiale di Preghiera per le Vocazioni, preceduta da un Triduo.
La parrocchia di Nostra Signora del Santissimo Rosario, nel Multinational Village di Paranaque, ha ospitato l'annuale Veglia di preghiera per le vocazioni giovanili della diocesi di Paranaque. Chiamato “Magbokasyon”, l'evento ha riunito gruppi di giovani da diverse parrocchie della diocesi per momenti di preghiera, lode, conferenze, riflessioni e si è concluso con la Santa Eucaristia il giorno dopo. I giovani hanno ascoltato le testimonianze vocazionali di seminaristi, religiosi, sacerdoti e coppie sposate. Il tema di quest'anno, “I giovani abbracciano le vocazioni come pellegrini di speranza”, è ispirato all'Anno Giubilare.
Il Centro Nazionale Rogate della Provincia San Matteo, insieme alla Conferenza Episcopale delle Filippine e al Centro Nazionale Vocazione, ha preparato il materiale in 8 lingue per la 62ª Giornata Mondiale di Preghiera per le Vocazioni, che include il Triduo, la Santa Messa, l'Adorazione Eucaristica, il santo rosario per le vocazioni, catechesi vocazionale, e il Messaggio del Santo Padre. I sussidi sono stati messi a disposizione delle diocesi e delle parrocchie delle Filippine, dell'Indonesia e del Vietnam e possono essere scaricati gratuitamente dal sito web del Centro Rogate della Circoscrizione.
St. Matthew Province: 62nd World Day of Prayer for Vocations
(May 09-10) Rogationist communities celebrated in different ways the 62nd World Day of Prayer for Vocations, which was preceded by a Triduum.
The parish of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, Multinational Village, Parañaque was the venue of the annual Youth Vocations Prayer Vigil for the Diocese of Paranaque. Dubbed as "Magbokasyon", the event gathered youth groups from different parishes of the diocese for moments of prayer, praise, conferences, reflections and culminated with the Holy Eucharist on the following day. The young people listened to the vocation testimonies of seminarians, religious brothers and sisters, priests and married couples. This year's theme, "Youth Embracing Vocations as Pilgrims of Hope," is inspired by the Jubilee Year.
The National Rogate Center of St. Matthew Province, in collaboration with the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines and the Directors of Vocations Promotion, prepared the materials for the 62nd World Day of Prayer for Vocations in 8 languages, consisting of the Triduum, Holy Mass, Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration, the rosary for vocations, vocation catechesis, and the Message of the Holy Father. The materials have been made available to dioceses and parishes in the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam for free download from the website of the Rogate Center of the Circumscription.
