Rogationist College Cavite: Sports Festival 2023

L'evento più atteso dal College e dai Dipartimenti di Educazione Tecnica, l'annuale Festa dello Sport con il tema "Gridiamo e guariamo", è iniziato ufficialmente il 18 gennaio e continuerà fino al 26 gennaio. L'evento è iniziato con la sfilata delle otto squadre, seguita dal programma vero e proprio che è stato aperto da un'invocazione e dal canto dell'inno nazionale guidato dal tamburo e dalla lira del St. Anthony's Boys Village. Le bellissime muse di ciascuna squadra sono state presentate formalmente alla folla, mentre il signor Jervey Garcia, ex MVP, ha recitato il giuramento di sportività. Per rendere ancora più emozionante l'evento, è seguita l'accensione della torcia. Il programma è stato condotto da Adrian Siray e Maureen Joy Baurile.
Per il messaggio ispiratore, il Decano del College, P. Zander M. Conson RCJ, ha detto: "Il lavoro di squadra è un valore che a volte viene sottovalutato a causa della tecnologia che ci circonda, spero che quando giochiamo e ci divertiamo, gridiamo, facciamo il tifo e lavoriamo come una squadra".
Il Rettore dell'istituto, P. Carlos R. Guzman RCJ, ha incoraggiato tutti a trattare gli altri come compagni di scuola, ma anche come avversari in partite giocate in modo equo e corretto. Ha sottolineato che vuole che tutti si godano il momento della competizione senza fare del male a nessuno.

Rogationist College Cavite: Sports Festival 2023

The most-awaited event of the College and the Technical Education Departments, the annual Sports Festival with the theme "Let's Yell and Heal” officially began on January 18 and will continue until January 26. It began with the parade of the eight teams followed by the program proper which was opened by an invocation, and the singing of the national anthem led by the SABV drum and lyre. The beautiful muses of each team were also formally introduced to the crowd while Mr. Jervey Garcia, the former MVP, led the recitation of the Oath of Sportsmanship. To add to the excitement of the event, the lighting of the torch followed. The program was led by Adrian Siray and Maureen Joy Baurile.

For the inspirational message, the Dean of the College, Fr. Zander M. Conson RCJ said, “Teamwork is a value that is sometimes underestimated because of the technology that surrounds us, but I hope that when we play and have fun, we shout, cheer, and work as a team.”

The Rector of the institution, Fr. Carlos R. Guzman, RCJ who graced the occasion encouraged everyone to treat each other as schoolmates, but also as opponents. He emphasized that he wants everyone to enjoy the moment of competition without hurting others.
