Thank You for your Prayers. Catholic Primary School of Takui is ready and waiting for the Inauguration and blessing of the new school building. With the help of the villagers, students, teachers and parents, workers and laborers the project was successfully completed within 40 days.
The Rehabilitation of Kitiwum school is in progress with the final wall painting of the two Nursery classrooms and class one and class two classrooms. We are now in the final four classrooms for Ceiling and painting. With good weather hopefully we can finish the within this month.

Domenica 27 agosto 2017 l'arcivescovo metropolita di Kigali Mons. Thaddée NTIHINYURWA ha benedetto la chiesa parrocchiale di Butamwa. La parrocchia San Giovanni Apostolo di Butamwa è stata fondata e affidata alla Congregazione dei Padri Rogazionisti il 17 maggio 2015 per rispondere alle necessità pastorali del popolo di Dio in periferia della capitale Kigali che facevano più di 4 ore per arrivare alla parrocchia san carlo Lwanga di Nyamirambo. Questa nuova parrocchia non aveva né la canonica per la residenza dei sacerdoti né la chiesa parrocchiale.
Twenty-three girls and boys (10-14 year olds) of the Sacred Heart Parochial Primary school received the First Holy communion at Parish Church in Kitiwum on July 31, 2017 during the Mass presided by Fr. Jeffrey Jagurin RCJ, the Parish Priest. The first communicants underwent two years of preparation catechism. They also had their first Sacramental Confession the day before. The Parish Church was full with students, parents and visitors from other parishes.

In the first week of June we have started the completion of Takui school, with new roofing, ceiling, plastering of walls inside the classrooms, Veranda, entrance stairs, and toilet for the teachers. within a month we are able to almost complete the structure and what is lacking is the painting of classrooms both inside and outside.

En date du 17/07/2017 a commencé au sein de la communauté saint Hannibal de Cyangugu (propedeutique) une mini session des aspirants de provenance du Rwanda et et de la RDCongo. Le nombre s'élève à 18. Le thème des enseignements qui sont entrain d'être donnés aux jeunes s'intitule comme suit : "connaître le Rogate pour mieux s'engager dans la famille rogationniste". Au terme de la session il y aura un petit test qui nous permettra de sélectionner certains candidats pour commencer la formation au sein de notre communauté de Cyangugu.
Dal 28 Giugno al 1º luglio, la Quasi Provincia San Giuseppe tiene a Kigali nella casa del Noviziato l’assemblea dei Religiosi Professi Perpetui che lavorano nelle comunità del Rwanda. Le mattinate sono dedicate alla formazione permanente, animata dal Superiore Provinciale dei Padri Pallottini con il tema: "UBI SECIETAS, IBI IUS”, mentre i pomeriggi sono dedicati allo scambio delle idee sul Direttorio della formazione della Quasi Provincia e sul direttorio della Quasi Provincia.
La Quasi Provincia San Giuseppe ha ricevuto con gioia il vescovo della diocesi di Obala nello Studentato Sant’Hannibal di Ngoya, in occasione delle ordinazioni diaconali e il conferimento dei ministeri di accolitato e lettorato ai giovani studenti religioisi.
Nella Provincia San Giuseppe (Rwanda - Cameroun), nella Parrocchia St. Pio XI di Ngoya, domenica, il 19 marzo 2017, alle ore 14.00, riceveranno il Sacro Ordine del Diaconato, per le mani di S.E. Mons. Léopold Ssthène Bayemi Majei, Vescovo di Obala, gli studenti religiosi Fr. Gatera Jean Bosco (Rwanda), Fr. Missinga Jean Landry (Cameroun) Fr. Ndomo Ekongolo (Cameroun), Fr. Nzabamwita Théogène (Rwanda), Fr. Oloa Maurant Herwé (Cameroun) e Fr. Yonaba Jean Freddy Armel (Africa Centrale). Vivissimi auguri!
