​The Rogationist STQP, invited his Lordship Cletus Perera and fifteen Sri Lanken priests for a fellowship meal. The bishop and a group of Sri Lanken priests came to Divine Retreat center, Chalakudy for their annual retreat. Today they fruitfully finished their retreat and responded to our invitation to come over to Aluva for a dinner. On behalf of the QP, Fr. Vinu Veluthppilly introduced the province and welcomed everybody to the friendship meal. It was intended to know and get in touch with the Sri Lanken priests as we begin our missionary presence in Sri Lanka. The bishop at the end thanked the community and invited all the priests to pray for the Rogationists and if possible to help the Rogationists to open the possibilities of beginning their apostolate in other dioceses. Fr. Unny Pottokkaran introduced the congregation, its charism and apostolate. Fr. Shajan thanked the bishop and the priests for accepting our invitation and for their valuable presence.  

To set clear steps on how to pursue the goals set in the Strategic Plan of the St. Matthew 2014-2018 for the Sector on Religious Life and Formation, responding to the present formative situation of the Rogationists in the Philippines, Fr. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, RCJ, the Provincial Councilor in charge of the Commission on Religious Life and Formation called for a meeting of its members. Let us pray for the success of this encounter!

These days, Fr. Breynard Peji took his turn to do the Community visitations to raise awareness and funds for the mission and project in Maumere, Indonesia. This year, in continuation of the earnest desire to support the completion of the Seminary Construction Project for the local candidates to the religious and priestly life there, the Rogationist Mission Day 2015, on its second year is dedicated by the General Government to the Indonesia. Let us continue to pray for the missions and the missionaries - humble instruments of God - who selflessly accepted in faith His call to carry on His ministry in a land other than their own. May their sacrifices bear fruit for their own good and the good of the entire Church!

Nella seconda tappa del loro viaggio in Argentina, P. Gioacchino Chiapperini, Economo Generale, e P.  Matteo Sanavio, Consigliere Generale, visitano la Comunità rogazionista di Tucumán. Arrivati l'8 settembre, condividono con i due confratelli P. Vito Curci e P. Rogerio Antonio de Oliveira la vita della comunità, prendendo visione delle attività socio-educative che si svolgono nell'Hogar San Agustín e nella scuola in cui P. Jonas Da Silva ha speso gli ultimi anni della sua vita: il Colegio Rogacionista (Obispo Colombres).

Nel Collegio Rogazionista di Tucumán oggi, 10 settembre 2015, si è celebrato il giorno del professore. I numerosi alunni hanno dedicato ai loro insegnanti manifestazioni di affetto, canzoni suonate dal vivo e momenti di ringraziamento. P. Vito Curci, direttore del centro educativo, ha accompagnato la giornata di festa facendosi presente tra i ragazzi e i professori.

Nel clima festoso della Natività di Maria SS.ma Bambina, si sono rinnovate le professioni annue dei giovani religiosi rogazionisti. Quest'anno, nella giornata dell'8 settembre nella chiesa parrocchiale dei santi Antonio di Padova ed Annibale Maria, alle ore 19.00 il Vicario Generale dei Rogazionisti P. Bruno Rampazzo ha presieduto l'Eucaristia nel corso della quale Fr. Marco Pappalettera e Fr. Antonio Vasta hanno pronunziato i voti perpetui sancendo l'incardinazione definitiva alla Congregazione. Hanno rinnovato invece i voti religiosi per un anno Fr. Patrizio Marfé, Fr. Gregorio Calò, Fr. Giulio D’Arrigo, Fr. Giannone Rosario, Fr. Nicola Salvatore Catanese, Fr. Nikolin Sterkaj, Fr. Raffaele Cangiano, Fr. Domenico Giannone della Provincisa S. Annibale e Fr. Erik Soltes della Provincia S. Antonio.

En ce 08 Septembre 2015, à la fête de la Nativité de la Sainte Vierge Marie, toute la Congrégation des pères Rogationnistes, la Quasi-Province Saint Joseph d’Afrique, le Scolasticat Saint Hannibal Marie Di Francia de Ngoya, les amis et familiers des confrères ont

connu une joie immense ceci grâce à la profession perpétuelle des Frères Ciza Mitima Jules (R D Congo), Dourwe Bernard (Cameroun) et Harindintwari Jean de Dieu (Rwanda) en la Paroisse Saint Pie X de Ngoya.

En effet, au cour de la célébration Eucharistique présidée par le Père Wilfriedo Cruz, Supérieur Majeur de la quasi-province saint Joseph d’Afrique, en présence de nombreux prêtres concélébrant parmi lesquels les trois nouveaux prêtres Camerounais Dieudonné, Gabriel et Jean Marcel ordonnés deux jours avant, nos frères ont donné leur oui définitif à la suite du Christ au sein de la congrégation des pères Rogationnistes.

Au cours de cette célébration eucharistique, 14 frères ont renouvelés leur engagement à la suite du Christ. Encouragés par les nombreux invités venant de tous les horizons, les frères Bernard, Jean de Dieu et Jules, après un long temps de discernement au sein de cette congrégation ont fait vœux pour toujours de pauvreté, chasteté, obéissance et de montrer du zèle au commandement du Seigneur «  Rogate Ergo dominum Messis ut Mittat Operios Santi in messem suam » (Priez donc le Maître de la moisson d’envoyer les ouvriers à sa moisson) Mt 9, 38 ; Lc 10, 2.

Confions-les au Seigneur afin que lui-même qui les a appelés à sa suite leur accorde la grâce de la fidélité pour la plus grande consolation du Cœur de Jésus et de Marie.

Il 12 settembre 2015, alle 17.30, vi sarà la traslazione e tumulazione della salma di P. Pantaleone dal cimitero di Oria (BR) al nostro Santuario di S. Antonio. Il rito sarà presieduto da P. Bruno Rampazzo, Vicario Generale della Congregazione. Seguirà la concelebrazione eucaristica, presieduta dal Vescovo di Oria, Mons. Vincenzo Pisanello. Tale evento sarà preparato da un triduo, con la predicazione del Postulatore Generale, P. Agostino Zamperini, e, nella vigilia, dalla presentazione dell’opuscolo biografico “P. Pantaleone Palma” del Prof. Gaetano passatelli, a cura di P. Vito Magistro, Superiore della Comunità di Oria. 

8 settembre 2015, Festa della Natività della Vergine Maria, San Paolo (Brasile). Nella cappella Santo Aníbal, presso la sede della Provincia di S. Lucas, P. Ledio Milanez, direttore dell’Istituto Rogazionista, ha celebrato la santa messa in ringraziamento per i suoi 25 anni di sacerdozio. P. Angelo A. Mezzari, Superiore Generale e numerosi confratelli si sono uniti a lui in questo momento di festa, assieme a molti fedeli, educatori, bambini e amici convenuti per l’occasione. Al termine della santa messa, nel salone dell’Istituto la festa è continuata con un’agape fraterna.

Fr. Ulyses Angus "chose to celebrate this day in the Parish Church (Our Lady of Beautiful Love Parish) near the place where he made his entry to the Congregation, as if to renew the gift and the enthusiasm of its beginnings," quoting aptly from the letter of greetings of Fr. Angelo Ademir Mezzari, RCJ, the Superior General, to the celebrant. Presiding over the Holy Eucharist, concelebrated by confreres from varied communities, Fr. Uly recalled in his homily how, with God's grace, he "changed" over the years as a religious and priest. He also emphasized how, in his life, he was motivated by the belief that "Priesthood is charity, and his charity has been his Priesthood." He was joined by confreres, family and friends in this day of simple remembrance of the gift of his Priesthood. Our prayers for more and holy priests!
