Bishop George Nkuo of the Diocese of Kumbo (Cameroon) erected on November 25, 2016 the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Kitiwum which is entrusted to the Rogationists of St. Joseph Quasi Province. In the occasion, the Bishop installed Fr. Jeffrey Jagurin RCJ as its first parish priest. Among the attendees were Fr. Josef Humanansky RCJ, Provincial of St. Joseph Quasi Province, confreres, diocesan and religious clergy, FDZ sisters and other religious, benefactors and friends, and the parishioners of the the new parish.

The year-long celebration of the 40 years of Rogationist presence and service in the Philippines kicked off with the ordination of five priests of St. Matthew Province: Fr. Jessel Bangoy, Fr. Tristan Angelo Palado, Fr. Welbert Llyd Suarez, Fr. Francisco Gringo Tagabi and Fr. Sherwin Valenzuela. Most Rev.

In a celebration, which commenced with the launching of year-long commemoration of the 40 years of presence and service in the Philippines, the Rogationists of the St. Matthew Province welcomed five new priests: Fr. Jessel Bangoy, Fr. Tristan Angelo Palado, Fr. Welbert Llyd Suarez, Fr. Francisco Gringo Tagabi and Fr. Sherwin Valenzuela.      Sul tema del Sinodo dei Vescovi del 2018, “I giovani, la fede e il discernimento vocazionale”, dal 21 al 22 novembre si è tenuta in Vaticano la Riunione del Consiglio ordinario della Segreteria del Sinodo. È stato approvato il Documento preparatorio, alla cui stesura ha collaborato anche P. Vito Magno, chiamato tra gli Esperti come giornalista e direttore della rivista Rogate ergo. La Riunione è stata presieduta da Papa Francesco, che segue personalmente le fasi di  preparazione al Sinodo.

On November 21-23 the Rogationists in the Delegation of Our Lady of Guadalupe came to celebrate their Annual Assembly in North Hollywood, California in the community of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Parish.

The first day was devoted to the presentation of the documents of the XII General Chapter by Fr. Antonio Fiorenza, the presentation of the Liturgical Proper for the Rogationists by Fr. Antonio Fiorenza and Fr. Peter Quinto, presentation of the theological and pastoral aspects of “Amoris Laetitia” by Fr. Marco Durazo.

La celebrazione di chiusura del Giubileo della Misericordia ha visto la presenza di numerosi presuli. È stata l’occasione per avere in Curia la visita di due Eminentissimi Cardinali. Domenica, 20 novembre, abbiamo avuto a cena il Card. Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Arcivescovo di Manila. Egli conserva una fraterna amicizia con il Superiore Generale, e con i confratelli che hanno operato nelle Filippine, poiché era vicino a noi già prima di essere consacrato Vescovo. Giorno 22, a pranzo, è stato con noi il Card.

On November 21, 2016, Fr. Herman Abcede, the Provincial Superior accompanied Fr. Henry Ramos and Bro. Chris Melvic Floralde to the airport to catch their late night flight to Papua New Guinea where they are now assigned. Bro. Paul John Mapacpac will also soon join them in the missions. Let us pray for their safe trip, and that they may enjoy and learn from this wonderful missionary experience.
