(26 febbraio 2022) L'arcivescovo di Manila, card. Jose Advincula, ha presieduto l'Eucaristia nel complesso della St. Hannibal Housing Subdivision a Pasay City in occasione del 18° anniversario della fondazione del St. Hannibal Empowerment Center (SHEC). Vi hanno partecipato i residenti della Phase 2 e della Phase 17, che è un appartamento di quattro piani costruito anche in collaborazione e con il finanziamento del Pondo ng Pinoy dell'Arcidiocesi di Manila.

Orville Cajigal, RCJ, the Provincial Superior, did his Canonical Visit to the St. Hannibal Mary Discernment Center in Mina, Iloilo on February 16-18-2022), after complying with all the travel requirements during the period of the pandemic. Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun, RCJ, the Provincial Secretary, joined him to document the visitation and to check on the archives of the community and of the parish. The short encounter was highlighted with moments of prayers proper of a contemplative-monastic community, and with common and personal dialogues.

With Fr. Jose Maria Ezpeleta, RCJ, who currently serves as the General Vicar of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus in Rome, Italy, Fr. Rito Ybañez, RCJ, celebrates their 25th Priestly Ordination Anniversary today, February 15, 2022. Fr. Ybañez presided over the Holy Mass, to solemnly remember the gift of the Sacred Order of Priesthood, graced with the presence of his family, confreres and friends, who also witnessed together a brief show of select Philippine folk dances before sharing a repast hosted by the community of the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies.

Within the day's Eucharistic liturgy presider over by Fr. Viktor Emmanuel Aurellana, RCJ, he was officially sent off as a missionary to England, through a simple rite headed by Fr. February 01, 2022- The SHFC- Cebu Community joined their Vietnamese brothers and confreres in celebrating the Lunar New Year 2022. The Vietnamese Brothers of the community prepared Vietnamese food for the festivity. The cultural committee also organized a simple yet worth remembering program. Fr. Alfonso Heredia, RCJ, a missionary in Vietnam gave his opening remarks. In his message, he relayed some important traditional practices of the Vietnamese during the celebration of the Tet Festival or the Lunar New Year.

On January 29, 2022 at 9:30 AM, a milestone in SHEC is celebrated. This is graced by the presence of Fr. Orville Cajigal, Provincial Superior, Fr. Ed Corosa, Parish Priest and collaborative Rogationists: Fr. Arlene Gumangan, Fr. Bong Dammay, Fr. Alex Poblador, Fr. Ronald Paulino, Fr. Elmer Dula, Fr. Noel Balquin, Fr. TJ Lancin, Fr. Rito Ybañez and Fr. Chris Melvic Floralde and several leaders of the Rogate groups. Some collaborators are also present. The event is held at the St. Hannibal Condominium, Phase 17, 580 E. Cornejo St., Malibay, Pasay City.

Day 1/3: January 28, 2022- The SHFC- Cebu Community had officially kicked off the three- day Panagsangka Camp 2022 with the theme: “Strength in Unity: Called to Move as One” and with a battle cry: “Rogationist Warriors! Second to None!” The event began with an Opening Program held at the Seminary football field. Rev. Fr. Ulyses Angus, RCJ, the acting- Superior and Spiritual Director of the seminary was the keynote speaker of the said event. Fr. Uly cited biblical verses pointing out virtues that are necessary for a warrior. The Panagsangka Camp 2022 was officially declared open by Rev. Fr.

Thanks for the warm welcome and generous accommodation of the religious community of the St. Lawrence the Deacon Parish, composed of Fr. Silvestre Robiñol, RCJ, Fr. John Joffer Lucas, RCJ, and Fr. Oggi, i 7 seminaristi del terzo anno e 2 quarto anno della FHFC hanno avuto il culmine del loro seminario EQ con la signora Louie Migne iniziato lo scorso settembre 2021. La serie di seminari è stata condotta per assistere e guidare i seminaristi nella loro crescita e sviluppo per quanto riguarda la loro intelligenza emotiva. Nei mesi scorsi, hanno partecipato a talk e workshop con la signora Louie tramite zoom meeting.

(20 gennaio) Il governo civile della provincia di Lam Dong, Vietnam, ha concesso alla Congregazione dei Rogazionisti il permesso di stabilirsi nella diocesi di Dalat. In realtà, la Congregazione è presente in Vietnam dal 2003 (a Saigon) e a Dalat dal 2005, ma senza il riconoscimento del governo civile. Ecclesiasticamente, i Rogazionisti sono presenti in tre diocesi: Saigon, Dalat e Phu Cuong. I rispettivi vescovi hanno dato il loro consenso di accogliere i Rogazionisti nelle loro rispettive giurisdizioni.
