14/08/2023: Aluva- the gathering of the parents and the members of the priests of the STQP India is held yesterday in the after from 3 to 9 pm. It was to rejuvenate the foster between the families of our priests in the Quasi Province as they are also members of the ROGATE FAMILY. The gathering began with Holy Eucharist and then they all participated in the blessing of the newly built TURF court in the compound of Rogate Ashram and Rogationist Academy. After that, there was a small session of coming together at Rogationist Academy Auditorium wherein Fr Varghese welcomed all and Fr Shajan inaugurated the gathering along with Fr Devassy and the representatives of the parents of the priests by lighting the lamp. Fr Bruno Rampazo, our General Superior gave a message online from Rome, adding more colour to the programme. There was a video presentation on the history of Rogate in India. Fr Devassy also felicitated the gathering and then there was a small interaction session where the parents introduced themselves. Then all proceeded to ROgate Ashram to watch the cultural programme arranged by the Philosophy students and after that with the concluding message and the delicious dinner the programme ended. Representing the family Mrs Selma thanked all and Fr Robin thanked from the part of STQP for this wonderful opportunity to gather together.
