The new bishop of Alotau visits the Sideia Mission
(September 29)—Mons. Jacek Piotr Tendej, the newly ordained bishop of the Diocese of Sideia-Alotau (Papua New Guinea), visited the Sideia Mission Center entrusted to the Rogationists two days after his episcopal ordination at the Alotau Cathedral on September 27. He came with his relatives. Bishop Tendej is from Poland and belongs to the Congregation of the Mission, also known as the Vincentians. He has served as rector of the Holy Spirit Seminary in Bomana, Port Moresby, since 2014.
